1. Window vs. In-Store Placement Location is everything.
Window Displays: You need "High Brightness" (at least 3,000 nits) to compete with direct sunlight. Standard screens will look black or washed out behind glass.
Indoor Displays: For behind the counter or on walls, 600 ~800 is perfect.
2. The "Walking By" Distance In retail, customers see your screen from the sidewalk or as they walk through the door.
The Rule: 1.5 to 2.5 pitch is the "sweet spot" for retail—it looks sharp from 2–3 meters away and is much more cost-effective.
3. Refresh Rate for Social Media Your customers will take photos and videos of your store for Instagram and TikTok.
The Requirement: Ensure a refresh rate of 3,840Hz. If it's lower, "black lines" will appear on customers' phone cameras, making your store look bad in social media posts.
4. Creativity and Shape Retail is about branding. Don't just think "rectangles."
Consider transparent LED for windows (so people can still see into the shop) or flexible LED modules to wrap around pillars or curved corners.
Target Brightness:
1000 Nits
Suggested Pixel Pitch:
P2.5
*Retail Tip: Use 3840Hz refresh rate so your screen looks perfect in customer's Instagram/TikTok videos.
